Linking notes in your slip box should not just be a ‘see …’, it should feel like a conversation that sparks insights, conclusions or further thinking.

After creating a note one should really ask some questions ‘where does this note belong to’. Try to place it behind one or multiple notes. Look through your notes where you could fit in. Does any of this further your thinking when you’re linking it, make a note!

When you’re creating these conversations within your slipbox, you’re actively thinking and not outsourcing your thinking.

Contradicting notes are wanted as they naturally further the whole thinking process.
