‘What do you do’ is an indicator to the pace
When you say “What do you do” it calls the players to action. This is a good indicator to how the game is running.
However if you just use this without providing them without any hooks or Secrets and clues they’ll just stand around being uncertain where to go next. If you did provide them with choices, feel free to remind the players of these.
When characters are called to action, bring the world to life and so the adventure.
